From decades of globalisation to post globalisation,
securing cultural identities against global trends has become a challenge. While ANS prepares global citizens who will thrive in the 21st century, it is our utmost pride to nurture young minds with profound connection and understanding of local values, culture and people, as we believe this to be an indispensable part of successful leaders. Amnuay Silpa is proud to present our definition of ‘Balanced Globalisation through our vision 'Global Education; Local Tradition'.
ANS offers a unique International Bilingual Education, a Thai-UK curriculum set in an internationally accredited school. Students are immersed in an English/Thai environment, with Mandarin Chinese taught as the third language. ANS is the ONLY English/Thai bilingual school in Thailand awarded CIS (Council of International Schools) accreditation. The accreditation speaks for the quality of teachers, the curriculum, teaching and learning, assessment of learning, facilities and how we work with parents to promote student learning and well being. The quality to be expected is that of world-class international schools, not the standards stipulated on local English Programmes.
Evidenced by examination results and awards atIGCSE/A Level, Thai national examinations, King’s scholarship and Ivy League scholarships, ANS has proven itself to be the best-performing bilingual school in Thailand. The unparalleled flexibility of ANS’ personalised secondary programmes broaden student choices and opportunities for successful applications to Oxbridge and Ivy League universities as well as all competitive universities in Thailand, Asia and the world.
Our students enjoy the privilege of being educated in the First Thinking School in Asia (2016) and the 21st Advanced Thinking School globally (2019) certified by the University of Exeter, UK. Our Thinking Curriculum has its focus on empowering students with skills to think critically, creatively and reflectively. Thinking about their thinking helps students become better thinkers and better learners. Teaching and learning is driven by the art and neuroscience of thinking.
The principle of holistic education lays a century-long fundamental framework of how ANS educates the whole child. The four pillars of education under the philosophy of Buddhism; knowledge and thinking, hands-on experiences, ethics and etiquettes and health and physical development, lead to opportunities to self-explore and unleash an individual's potential to the fullest.
It is such a privilege to be a part of this unique school in which every member is inspired by THINKING and committed to preparing Thinkers to Lead the globalised world through the 21st century.
